Beatriz and Beatrice, an interactive narrative VR experience.

Beatriz and Beatrice merges two female-centered stories: one real and one fictional from different cultures, time periods, classes and locations.  In both situations, the use of toxins reveal issues of physical and psychological imprisonment, labor rights, gender roles, and the safety of immigrant communities, particularly women.

Beatriz and Beatrice highlights social issues that impact marginalized labor workers but also, the safety of all food and water supplies. As in my previous projects, illuminating situations or people who are kept silenced and invisible is a theme.

I am interested in using VR as a powerful storytelling tool to raise awareness. As in my previous projects, illuminating situations or people who are kept silenced and invisible is a theme here.
