Skin of Complicity (2025, RT: 4:40), is an experimental intersection of embodied and virtual forms. The work addresses the challenges of AI as a collaborative image and language tool used to describe the aging female body - which the machine is unable to write, touch or feel.
Success, failure and in-between results are part of an ongoing questioning and image exploration around how to organically utilize AI tools. This work invites the language of the digital body and poetry, to be in conversation, inside of an experimental space. Text imagines a failing body in relation to or in conversation with an imagined disembodied, non-aging AI entity. Superimposed over slow-motion forms unfolding, cascading, and dematerializing, the text is also in a state of decay.
